Upholstery Cleaning: your questions answered
Can you clean my leather sofa?
We clean and condition leather, but we do not re-dye or restore cracked leather. Send a photo and we will say honestly what is achievable.
How long until I can use the sofa?
Usually 4 to 8 hours depending on fabric thickness and airflow. We extract hard so it is damp rather than soaked.
Will the colour run?
We colour-fastness test a hidden area first. If a fabric fails the test we stop and tell you, rather than risk it.
Do you clean mattresses?
Yes, from £35 for a single. This is our most popular add-on for allergy sufferers and end-of-tenancy bookings.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, £70 per visit if upholstery is the only thing booked. Adding it to a carpet or deep clean avoids that.
Can you remove pet smells?
Yes, with an enzyme treatment on the affected areas. Deep-set urine in the foam sometimes cannot be fully saved, and we will tell you before charging.
Do I need to do anything first?
Just remove throws, cushions you do not want cleaned and anything down the back of the seats.
Do you clean office and car upholstery?
Yes, office chairs from £15 and car seats from £15 per seat.
